Expert Tips
• AB Aussie and Junior blocks can be used together. Junior blocks are half the size of the Aussie block, making them great for tight curves.
• You can use the Aussie for straight and curved walls, then incorporate the Junior for a tighter curve if needed.
• They are the deepest block available in the retaining wall market at 240mm deep. This gives customers the greatest footprint compared to other segmental block systems, which means it is the most stable block system offered.
• It is one of the best blocks to use on a boundary between two properties. It gives stability, and you can build a fence on top.
• The AB Aussie and Junior blocks are underrated. They have been around the longest compared to our other segmental wall systems.
• APC often used these blocks in the early 2000s for boundary walls between properties. Concrete sleepers brought their downfall, but they are coming back in popularity as they are nicer to look at and are a more flexible option.
• These blocks are DIY friendly.
• The best block system to use for walls over 1 metre in height.
